Our Personalized Learning Coach, Amie Paulson, was awarded the 2022 Trailblazer Award from The Institute of Personalized Learning on June 22 at the Summer 2022 Convening in Milwaukee!
Amie received the award for embodying the Trailblazer Sprit in her role as our personalized learning leader. The Trailblazer Sprit consists of the following attributes:
-Understands the need for transformational (not incremental) changes to learning and teaching
-Takes risks and questions assumptions
-Advocates for personalized learning as the prevailing approach to educating youth
-Forges the path for others to follow
-Acts as a scout of new strategies and practices for peers, supervisors, and supervisees
-Shares learning with others in the network to benefit all
-Has influenced hope, commitment, and passion in educators and learners
