The "Planting Positivity" community art project at the front entrance of East Bethel Elementary School is now even more beautiful and welcoming thanks to the creativity and kindness of the students, staff and supportive community of families and friends.
At the end of last school year, every student and staff member painted a rock with a positive message or symbol. Over the summer, the rocks were arranged into a vibrant flower, with the staff-painted rocks forming the center and each petal representing a different grade level from Kindergarten through 5th grade.
This project is a wonderful reminder that every individual contributes something special, and together we can create something truly beautiful.
Thank you to EBES Art Teacher Elizabeth Szymczak for planning, organizing, and overseeing the project!
