Around 800 people attended the Co-Sponsored Wiítaya Wacipi/Maamawi Niimi’idiwin Together Powwow on Feb. 28 at St. Francis High School. The free event, which featured food trucks, vendors, dancing, drums and a free raffle, was hosted by the St. Francis Area Schools American Indian Education Department.
The Master of Ceremony was Niigaanigwaneb Byron Ninham, Arena Director was George Morrow III, Host Drum was Red Tree and Invited Drums were War Thunder, Hoka-Hey, Little Earth Singers, and Red Lake Singers. View more photos from the Powwow.
