Students at Saints Academy have designed a Crosley Cruiser Record Player and are entered in the Crosley Custom Cruiser Contest. The theme for the contest is "Band Together" and the students have leaned into their Minnesota Pride for their design.
Crosley Radio invited high school art departments from just 250 schools nationwide for the contest. The company challenged students to customize their iconic Cruiser Record Player by painting, drawing, or more on a Cruiser to create a unique design, while tying in the theme "Band Together."
Rachel Walters, the art teacher at Saints Academy, organized for some of her students to participate in the contest during class and submitted their entry. View photos of their design.
Online fan voting will take place Nov. 3-7 in order to determine the top design from each region, which will be announced Nov. 12. Bonus votes go to each ‘like’ on social media. View the district Facebook or Instagram posts to add an extra vote for Saints Academy.
