A 2020 Alumni of St. Francis High School, Jace Goedel concluded his collegiate bowling career in 2024-25 at Wartburg College (Iowa) where he was named a Club All-American finalist and received his Professional Bowling Association (PBA) membership card. A two-time conference MVP he helped guide his team to a conference championship and a 10th place finish at the Collegiate Club National Championships in March. Goedel posted a 207 average last season and was a career 200 average bowler.
Goedel bowled for SFHS and went to sections for the Saints, was voted MVP and was the top bowler in the conference. He was 9th in the nation at Junior Gold in 2021.
Goedel graduated from Wartburg this spring with a degree in computer information systems. Goedel plans to pursue a professional bowling career with the PBA.
