SFHS Sophomores/Parents:

Sophomores will take Reading MCA on Wednesday March 20, 2019 during the first three periods of the day (9:15-11:52 am). This is a late start day so testing will start at 9:15 am. Students will have unlimited time to complete the test and in most cases it takes approximately two-three hours.

SFHS is proud to let you know that your child has been (or will be) getting help with strategies for reading tests both from a special in-person presentation, as well as electronically with their advisory teacher. Parents are encouraged to have their child take advantage of the electronic test prep Use this link for MCA Reading test prep over the next week. We strongly encourage students to use the MCA Reading Item Sampler. This is a great tool for seeing the kinds of questions they will encounter
