Update to school cancellation for February 23
Posted 02/23/2018 03:38PM

The St. Francis Police Department has investigated the incident that was first reported on Thursday, February 22. A 17-year-old student has been taken into custody and booked into the Lino Lakes Correctional Facility for a threat of violence against Crossroads School & Vocational Center. This was a verbal threat that was taken seriously by law enforcement and St. Francis Area Schools. The safety of all students and staff is always our number one priority. Superintendent Troy Ferguson extends his appreciation to our students, parents, staff and community for the patience and support shown today in allowing the school district and law enforcement to thoroughly investigate the situation.
