There will be a 90-minute late start for all Independent School District 15 schools on the third instructional Wednesday of every month for the 2017-18 school year. These dates include: September 20, October 18, November 15, December 20, January 17, February 21, March 21, April 18 and May 16.

Students will not be assigned a specific numbered spot in the lot. All students must have a parking permit in order to park in SFHS parking lots, except the lower lot by the baseball fields. Trimester 3 parking permits went on sale Monday, March 12. Students must display parking permits and park in designated lot by Thursday, March 15.

Polls closed at 8:00 p.m. today in Independent School District 15 (ISD 15). All three precincts reported results by 8:50 p.m. Question 1 failed, 2502 to 2014 and Question 2 failed, 2779 to 1731.
The proposed bond referendum put two questions before ISD 15 voters. Question 1: "Shall the School Board of ISD 15 be authorized to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $92,280,000 for acquisition and betterment of school facilities?" Question 2: " If Question 1 is approved, shall the School Board of ISD 15 be authorized to issue general obligation school building bonds in an amount not to exceed $15,520,000 for acquisition and betterment of school community activities center addition to the high school?"
